Hi All,

Of course this was a lady's event, but when we arrived to pick up the wives,

we had coffee and cake, a great time, and I took some pictures:

R-1 with built-in flash.

Hi, Nicholas:

Personally, my lack of response has nothing to do with the quality of your photos; rather circumstances in my own life. I have not had a lot of chances to log onto Steve's lately, but when I do, my first stop is the Sony forum just so that I can see what you have posted. No matter what you are photographing; each event is marked with your own distinctive style and the shower photos are no exception.

Good luck with your new H-9. BTW; if you ever decide to sell your R-1, let me know! Mine is ailing.

Hi Ria,

Good to hear from you and hope that all is well.

Thanks for your kind commets.

If you are having R-1 trouble with no warranty, I would call Sony and ask how much they get for a complete rehab of the camera.

It is very cheap when you consider how good the R-1 is.

Hi, Nicholas:

Thanks for your advice. I sent off my baby to Sony yesterday ... $211.00 for a rehaul. Not too bad, as you said.

Keep your fingers crossed! : ) Ria
