How about some samples from the H7 ?

http://www.sony.jp/products/Consumer/DSC/DSC-H7/sample.html

Not exactly impressive palm tree shot, but they're pretty much meaningless untilcompared to others.

Shouldn't be long now

Hello All,

Just downloaded some full size H7 images from ISO 80 to 3200 from:

http://translate.google.com/translat...language_tools

See the Cactus & Rabbit Shots.

You won't believe how well the 1600 shot responded to noise reduction, sharpening and a crop to 8x10 size. I do not know if I legally am able to post it here. These shots were underexposed by -.7 EV to really test the noise.

I can't wait until I get my H9. Just called Sony, Rep now states shipping May4, 2007.

Can't wait. i am just like a kid at Christmas.

Nicholas

I bought it from Sony www.sonystyle.com , I figured they would have it first, as well as the accessories, including the 4 year accident warranty for only $99.

As soon as I bought these they were no longer listed for sale on sonystyle. Seems to be under construction or waiting for new shipments.

I paid sales tax willingly.

Have received the HD cord, MS Pro Duo. Spare battery to be delivered Monday.

All from Sony. Just need the camera. If a keeper, will sell my oldest two cameras from the three I own to offset the cost of the H9.
