Hi All,

Shot as VGA with 75x zoom, handheld. AMAZING to me.

Hi Nick,

I agree - amazing. I hadn't noticed this pic before, but when you think about 75x handheld it is quite something.

I have a spotting scope that will go to 60x magnification, but even on a tripod it is a devil to keep steady enough to focus that clearly. It really is a fantastic achievement for the camera - and of course the photographer!

Thanks Steve.

What I really like about this photo is the depression on the surface of the water created by the duck dipping his head into the water. That depression doesn't last too long. The Image Stabilization is really a new frontier for my photography.

Thanks for all of the testing and great shots. You've inspired me enough that I bought an H-9 at Best Buy last Monday! You are right about the IS, it opens up an entirely new world. Best Regards, Jim
