The F707 renders beautiful colors! The beach image is lovely. The swan shot is very noisy. I think you brighten it up a bit too much making the colors look washed out and noise more evident.

Very nicely composed and executed Tullio, you have really got that R1 working for you.

The Welsh coastline is very beautiful, isn't it?

Although the R1 appears to be a complicated camera at first, in reality it isn't and it did not take long for me to feel very comfortable with it. The thing is, the EVF isso darn accurate that it makes exposure adjustments work flawlessly. The "zebra" pattern helpseliminate over exposure from just about every image (thetrick isto understand that some"hot" spots cannever be eliminated (ever)or the image will be totally under exposed.Once you know which"zebra" spots should be left alone, the exposure accuracy is close to 100% and let's face it, perfect exposure and good camera dynamic range accounts for over 70% of a photo's success.

Here's an example of the R1 exposure accuracy and dynamic range capabilities.

Good Morning to all-

Many thanks for the excellent photos Wirraway and Tulio. Here along the Oregon Coast we are moving into our third gray and foggy day. My attached photo taken with the H-9 shows what it looks like. Have a great day.
