I went and switched over to the darkside and bought a Canon SD870. Just to see how it compairs to my Sony. It takes pretty good photos. Its about the same size as my T1. Heres a photo of my DSLR. Straight from camera b/w conversion with color accent in red. Little blown out but I could use PS to adjust that. but pretty clear with detail I think so far.

I like it! Lots of details indeed and the color effect worked very well. Now, which Sony are you comparing this camera with?

Hi Tullio, here follows the high ISO test you asked me to do with the W300, these shots are straight out of the camera with no PP. I think ISO 3200 has too much noise, ISO 1600 should be of some use if a noise reduction program was used, as usual look forward to your comments. (exif attached)
