Default hotshoe flash for 717

Ok now that I have the HVL-F1000 and F32X flash units, which are not useable with the 717 hotshoe, what flash unit is? You'd think Sony would provide this information so we'd not waste hundreds of dollars on flashs that still need to be on a cable cord. Signed unhappy new owner.

I certainly don't know. I have a DSC-F717 and the F32X flash also. The flash does work fine, but I am disapointed that it needs a sync cable.

You can't plug the wired remote or the remote enabled tripod and the flash at the same time. Which is one normal everyday type of use.
