Hi Sintares,

Ok. Yours is a valid point.

And you are now clarifing your statement 'Buy what you Like...after due consideration'.

We are in agreement.

One correction if I may, you wrote regarding myself:

"You ( Nick ) for example decided to use the H9 even with its apparent (if only to others) flaws and thats a valid choice, you bought what you liked.

I did not buy the H9 because I liked it. I bought it because I liked the Specifications of the H9 and had no idea if the H9 would deliver the promises in Sony's Press Release. I had no idea of any flaws etc. I was one of the first to get the H9 from Sony's second shipment as I reported here.

Now after 2 months I can honestly state that I got my money's worth and the H9 has become my everyday camera in addition to my using it to capturemore important images, more important to me that is.

It is a great piece of photographic technology and has extended my realm in which I photograph things, both far and near.

Thanks forthe fruitful exchange of ideas,

Nicholas

Hi Ricanlinx,

The only other Sony product I own is my venerable R-1.

Have you read my response to you on your last two D40 shots?

It was not to criticize you but to suggest the lighting affects the noise you find in certain images.

I am glad you find my pics 'okay'.

Mine are no better than anyone else's and I have never made such a claim.

I held the D40 at Circuit City today, not much bigger than my H9. It seemed well made as all Nikons do.

Good shooting with your D40.

Nicholas

There is nothing wrong to be SONY lover.
By the way, your H5 is SONY too, so can I suggest you have SONY computer, TV, MP3 player and so on?

Take a nap! and wake up
with a peace in your mind
