cyber-

I am sorry that you feel left out with a H-5, but the H-5 is a very capable camera as well, and most users, myself included, are very happy with the Sony H-5. It a great camera. So for you how about this one from the H-5. It is an existing light/no flash, hand held shot, taken using just stage lighting. I have not received my H-9 yet, so I am not sure if the H-9 could do as well. The fast focusing capability of the H-5, really helped this photo.

Hi All,

Great shots by all.

I took my H9 out yesterday and used it for the first time since July 17, 2007.

I had it with me as my back-up camera until yesterday.

These guys just honked and flew over. Yes, lots of PP in this high contrast, poorly captured ( wrong exposure setting, etc., by me ) image. But..I think I captured the moment with my H9:

Regards,

Nicholas

Good Morning, Nick-

Yes, that is a good capture of the geese overhead. It especially good when you consider that capturing birds in flight is rather difficult. Thanks for posting, we alway appreciate having you visit our little thread.

Keeping with the same theme, birds in flight. Here is one that is pretty good as well.

You should never feel left out with all your gorgeous H5 photos.

Cyberf282, Nick, Tullio, Wirraway, Sara, Foxcub6..seeing all the lovely pictures always make me smile during the day (and wish I was at a nice relaxing creek or beach.)

Nick...love the Canadian geese photo. We have a small lake/large pond at our local university where the Canadas come each winter. It's near my office. I love to sit there and just watch them..I also ove to see them flying over in formation.

I have some beautiful Terry Redlin prints and Joe Michelet original paintings of Canadas in my office. They are a weakness of mine.

Thanks for the photos, guys and girls. :-)

Great panorama! What happened to the water? Looks like the bay near Havant, UK when the tide goes out.
