Great thread!!

This is the Real Me, self portrait at Socrates Sculpture Park, L.I.C., N.Y.

They did not yet erect the statue that was to occupy this location in the park.

So I took the initiative to do it myself. ( yes, I am holding in my belly ):

Cyberr shot nut-

A great big welcome to you! We are a very friendliy group here. So, many thanks for posting your photo. It is a pleasure to meet you. As you can see from the photos posted thus far, we are a diverse, but talented group. Most important of all, we really like Sony Cameras. And most important of all, we do not fight and we do not put each other down. Unlike other websites that begin with www.dpre...

So welcome to our thread. We hope that you will come back often.

Well, many thanks, Nick-

We are always very glad to have you here! we thank you for your many contributions. You are one of the first persons who really believed in the H-9. Actually you are our hero, as we really believe that everyone should be recognized for their contribution to this Sony thread. and you, Nick have contributed so very much.

Yep, please enjoy your Canon 5D. We here, will, in our own rather less than average way, attempt to carry on with the H-9 torch. With the help of Cyber, Chrystie, and many others. new folks are joining all the time! We will get it done. We are hoping to show, rather conclusively, that many folks out there, are indeed quite happy with their H-9 cameras.

However, Nick, you were the trail blazer, and it would be less than honerable if we did not fully acknowledge that you, in full measure, have done much to draw attention to the many qualities of the Sony H-9. We are indeed nothing but late comers to the effort. But we will attempt, with all our efforts, to show that the Sony H-9 camera deserves a good deal more recognition for the excellent camera that it really is. The photos speak for themselves.
