Was through in Edinburgh again today and i came across Greyfriars Bobby. When its owner died in 1872 the dog lay on his grave for 14 years untill it to died. The local people saw loyalty and devotion from the animal and erected this monument along with a head stone in Greyfriars Cemetry

Being a dog lover, this is a favorite story of mine. Thanks for the chanse to see the actual statue of Bobby.
