Default Where to buy Sony P-10 (online(Profeel) or major store)

Good day to everybody.

In the last few months I solidified my desicion of buying a high end digital camera, and have started a serious seach quite recently. I have narrowed my search to Sony P-10 as a take-everywhere quality camera.

Right now Circuit City, BestBuy, and compUSA have a 500 pricetag on it.
Online I am looking at profeel, who's reviews I have been checking including the BetterBusinessBeurau and who's price estimate is 440 for the camera including the shipping, and they say the item has a US Sony warrantly.

I am interested in advice on this issue.
Retail chain or online?

Does anyone have first-hand experience with ProFeel? What about defective returns to online places - how difficult is it and who pays shipping?
In General, is shipping fragile items like cameras safe?

I look forward to joining the helpful community you guys have built on this forum.

Sincerely.

I used Circuit City at the end (14 day return policy, no Q asked), and 30 day lowest price guarantee.
Got a P10. Then brought it back, got money back. In a few days bought F717.
Have a nice day.
