Default F707 - flash on camera

Read all the F707 comments, I've had one for a week
and enjoying it very much.

Can get an extra 1/2 to 1 stop from the flash by
pushing AE-LOCK button before taking photo.

Any one else got some tips?

If you have an image out on the internet you could...type the below statement and replace the sample url with a real url and the ( & )'s with [ & ]'s.

This method would display the picture within the post...Watch the size of the image...

another popular method is to post a link to a free photo hosting site...

Default You all talked me into it! :)

I have been enjoying a heck out of digital photography. My old SLR Minolta camera equipment worth $ 1500 is sitting at the bottom of the closet after I purchased Casio QV2000 digicam. Now I am ready to upgrade. It seems I am not the only one who "gave in" to kudos about F707. (I hope you are not all Sony employees posting undercover!! :-). What an awsome publicity for Sony here! Being relatively new in digi photography I appreacite to be able to weigh everybody's input. Would anybody be kind enough to give me a quick tip on where to buy this camera online; from a good personal experience.

Thanks to all of you, Yukon

Default You won't be sorry...

I have been partial to Olympus, and I TRIED to find something about the F-707 that I REALLY didn't like, and I couldn't. It's not perfect, but for my needs and skills right now, it's fantastic. You are going to have SO much fun! It's not the Olympus C-2100 (a.k.a. 'UZI'), but it IS a charm.

Hi,

I'm in the process of buying a new digital camera and I hesitate between Sony F707 and Minolta DiMAGE 7i.

I need memory space when using the camera and that's why I incline towards Minolta DiMAGE 7i with a 1 GIG IBM Microdisk.

Can you convince me to go with Sony? Usually I would prefer Sony (am a Sony fan: Sony TV, complete Sony sound system, etc...)

Many thanks,

Jac

Default f707 vs dimage7

Go F707, as it has a faster lens!

F2-2.8 on the F707 vs F2.8-3.5 on the dimage 7.

It is obvious the F707 takes in more light, thus the ability to take indoor shots without flash necessarily.

Also the Carl Ziess lens gives remarkable sharp picture!

Default Sony warranty

Yeah, I was as proud of my 770 Pro as you are
of your 707 until things stopped working and
found that I had a 90 day warranty. Hope you
don't have problems.....Sony only stands behind
their product for short time. After that, too
bad.
