Have been getting inquires lately about these two cameras not having any power. Worked fine one day, then no power. New batteries don't help. Is this a switch or powerboard problem?,a loose ribbon connector/clip that came loose? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

Most likely a fuse on the main board or a bad main board. The newer "S" series cameras are total junk, the last good "S" was the S600.
