Slight wobble on DSC-717

Hi,
I have a DSC-717, and I'm really happy with it. Today, I noticed a very slight side to side wiggle between the body and lens. I can hold the lens and body and move them slightly side to side. Is that normal? There is no problem with the function of the camera, and the normal up down tilt of the lens is not loose in any way. Any ideas?

I have a solution to your problem: stop wobbling the lens! Yes, mine has about a quarter inch play in it, but there is no fault. At a guess, some "give" is allowed for in construction to help minimise damage if dropped or whatever.

Yes yes yes.... Doc it hurts when I do that... "then don't do that." <g> I was just wondering if I had been a bit too rough with my camera. I take it with me to my job some times, and I don't have a desk job<g>. So, I'm glad it's not just mine. Thanks
Michael
