Default Floppy Disk Adapter for Mavica FD cameras?

Can I use a Memory Stick / Smart Media Card in Sony's FD series Mavica Camera's using a Floppy Disk Adapter for that particular Media?

Hi,
Depends on the camera model. I have a Mavica FD-95 and it can use the Floppy Disk adapter (It only supports the original memory stick type and NOT the memory stick PRO sticks). It also has what looks like a floppy adapter and memory stick icon on the camera itself (next to the shutter button). The newer one (FD200) has a seperate slot for Memory Sticks, and doesn't need the floppy adapter. So, I guess it would depend on which model. Hope that helps.

UPDATE:
I was looking at an old office supply mag that listed a Mavica FD-85, and it was MS adaptable with the Floppy Disk Adapter. So I would assume any Mavica made after that can use MS. Hope that helps more
