Wow! what settings did you use? I live where there is light pollution so I doubt if I could do that so you are very fortunate. Great shot!

Thanks, I was using M mode white ISO was 80 or auto worked also, F400 and at -2 OEV, it was just dark and i would adjust the settings to lighten up the moon my first few shots were either to bright or not enough, had the camera on my tripod and put the camera on the 10 second timer, had to do it as quick as possible as it was -25 outside, not much local light were i live but I would like to take a drive just outside town where I would be in complete darkness, take another moon shot when its full plus I would like to get the northern lights on camera also, will keep waiting for that love the H50
