Default SONY DSC H-50 Photography

I have used th MACRO feature of H-50. The problem is with MACRO mode if optical ZOOM is used, the object goes out of focus. If MACRO is used without ZOOM its still OK. Is there any MACRO attachment available for H-50? Can anyone please help?

For more macro, you can use the snap-on lenses from Raynox.
These lenses are to be used in telephoto modus.. also to avoid vignetting (dark circle on photo due to smaller lens diameter)
The macro mode on your H50 must be turned OFF.

you will need, however, a down conversion ring from the Sony H50's 74mm adapter to 67mm to attach these lenses.

I own them both and they are great!
The dcr-150 can be used without a tripod but the dcr-250 is to be used with a tripod because of the extreme zoom it's highly sensitive to motion from your hand. A tripod with both lenses is highly recommended though.

Prices vary widely, check Ebay for more competitive prices.

If you want to do macro with the zoom, I would suggest a Close-up Lens. You can read more about how to use them here,
