Default Help!!!!!!

Having recently sold my F717 b/c of the planned purchase of the F828 - I decided to grab the old F707 from the closet.

To my dismay - when I started the camera a strange sound came from the lens "area". It sounded like a straining sound. Then I got and error message - "E:61:10" When I looked in the manual, all it said was that it was a malfunction that I could not reverse. Now the camera won't focus.

Anybody have any idea what it might be? The cost of repairing it?
etc. I hope its not too crazy- rather not send it back to sony b/c they charge an arm and a leg for labor.

thanks,

Robert
