Tim, get yourself a Sony MagicGate Pro Memory Stick reader/writer. It connects to your computer's USB and your computer will read it like an external drive. The DSC V1 came with the 2" long Memory Stick media cards, but the card readers are sold with an adapter that can take the newer 1.25" Memory Stick Pro Duo cards. The model # is MSAC-US30.

Any cheap memory card reader will do as long as it can read Memory Stick Pro Duo. I am using a $5 card reader I bought online, it works very well.

WCKser, is correct-

Any garden variety card reader able to read Sony Pro Duo cards will do the job just fine.
