I got it today, ... was delivered within 10 hours :-) € 330

Hmm, it looks good, verrrrry small. Now I need summer ! Always it is grey and foggy.

it looks extremely small. very nice pocket companion.

be interested to hear your thoughts and impressions as you have more time to spend with it. i am personally a little more interested in the hx5 for the lens, but much of the insides is shared between the 2.

HX5's functions are very similar to TX7. I think both cameras are excellent.
I preferred Pana, Canon, Oly, Samsung, didn't like Sony (urrrgghh .. memory stick) - but Exmor & video & SDHC are good arguments.

i'd be interested to see how the exemor handles the isos.

maybe you could shoot some scene at each ISO, and give us a small 100% crop from each?

Congratulations, DonalDuc-

You are the first person that I have seen who has the HX-5 and the TX-7 together. I will really be interested to see some photos from the HX-5, particularly high ISO photos.
