Hey guys, I'm a noob on this board and a noob when it comes to cameras

I haven't even had a digital camera of my own and now I am ready (finally) to buy one. Been doing research and have really had my eyes on the TX7 and HX5 primarily.

My question is, should I wait to see until the HX5 is released, buy the TX7, or go with another option. I want to take great pictures when I go to events, vacation, etc and obviously the small size and picture quality of the TX7 is tremendous.

Really, my main questions, since you guys know so much about cameras, is the TX7 worth it (Not cheap of course)? Do videos have a limit on recording time or no? Thanks

PS: GREAT pictures Donal. Really makes me even more anxious since I really want the TX7 and am really close to buying it.
