TX5 has NO docking station? - because it is WATERPROOF - and I think, all connections are inside.

look TX5 bottom

TX5 - in the Box - copied from TX7 ? ? ?
  • A/V Cable ? ? ?
  • Paint Pen
  • Rechargeable Battery (NP-BN1)
  • USB Cable ? ? ?
  • CD-ROM
  • Battery Charger
  • wrist Strap
  • Multi Output Stand ? ? ? ?

if bought: $59.99 for HDMI-adapter/cable :-(

for underwater snorkeling I have my Pentax WS80 for double cable price :-)
€ 100 - € 150 ... video also 1280x720 - and smaller then TX5, but no wide angle and touch display. 1/3 price of TX5 :-}

I think underwater some buttons are better than touch display.

10 Megapixel CCD (1/2.3")
5x optischer Zoom (35-175mm, 1:3.8-1:4.7)
AVI max.1280x720(16:9)/640x480(4:3)@30
waterproof 1.5m

for some bucks more

Pentax W80
12 mpixels, 5x opt. zoom, 28 - 140mm
video 1280x720
waterproof 5m
