Default Sony P92 MPEG movie mode I get "electronic noise"

I am a newby to this scene. I have just bought a Sony P92 and when recording movies I get "electronic noise" which ruins the movies. It only does it in VX mode (640X480). Every other function works fine.
Sony wont help. I tried them first.
If anyone has a P92 can they tell me if they all make this noise. It is very noticable when recording in a quiet environment. Ruins the movies. Is my P92 faulty?
Thanks :-)

You are talking about noise in the sound, not in the image, right?
In that case I have the same problem. It's annoying.

I think I might have an erratic model. Do you also have the symptoms described in my other post?

Default Sony P92 sound corruption issue in Movie Mode

Thanks for your reply. And yeah sorry, it's sound noise (rather than visual noise). It is the same problem you have by the sounds of it.
I am guessing that all P92's do it. It is like "electronic processing" by an internal chip / CPU. If I put the camera down the noises stop - as the image is "constant" - move the camera and the noises start up again. Very strange. Someone suggested to me it may be the cold ?

Thanks, that sorts it out I think. Apart from that i'm very happy with this camera.

It might indeed have something to do with the cold, I noticed the noise at first when I went to take pictures of frozen plants outside. The background noise in recorded movies is propably the same sound, amplified.
