Default concidering sony a55

Hello all: Been awhile since ive posted here. I presently shoot a Sony a300 and have been happy with it. I have always been a bit disappointed that the lack of video capabilities came as a real surprise coming from Sony. Now I see they have recently introduced the new A55, so o fcourse it has my interest up in up grading to this new cam. I have read that it has some video overheating issues and is an unproven technology with its new mirrors. It seems to be a very nice camera for the price so i would like to hear what someone that has one has to say about it.

You will probably get a better response by posting your question in the Sony Alpha DSLR folder.

I do not yet own a Sony a33 or a55, but I am very interested in them. The overheating during video shooting seem to occur after 10 or more minutes of shooting a constant video stream.
