My wife uses iPhoto to import and manage her media. On the HX9V, iPhoto will automatically import the photos but not any of the video from the SD card. We have to manually explore and move over the video files.

Anyone know if this is because of the video format or is there an option in iPhoto I don't know about that allows importing video?

I believe on her Canon SLR iPhoto will automatically imports both photo and video.

So with owning my 9. I now notice the body seperated where the tripod is used. Wondering and hoping others to be a lil more careful.

Today:

I thought I try the Defocus again.

1 Defocus on, and set to strong, Snap the shot, here two clicks, done?

Wrong

At home, looking at the Manual. confusing it is?

You have to kinda figure out what went wrong, something needs to be set, it is not Automatic.

So I thought I take a quick shot again after reading a very simple instruction.

1 defocuse

2 zoom in some, and background is blurred

I also remembered, you must set the tracking focus, I as well zoomed in

Lesson learned, thank ypu
