Default Having Fun with the 4 Year Old-H-9 Camera

We made our move to our current house some 4 years ago. All the important stuff got unpacked in a hurry, but then as fate would have it, about 6 boxes never got unpacked. Instead they were moved to an idle area of the garage and forgotten.

I have been unpacking those last few boxes this week. This morning I came across my Sony H-9 camera, that I had long hoped to find. After lunch, the battery had been charged and I decided to snap some informal portraits of my husband.

Well that oldie camera is still a goodie, as you can see from the attached photo.

An excellent portrait. Nice to find something you have been looking for for a while.

Claus-

Thanks for posting the Japanese article on the HX9/HX100. Personally I am in a "wait and see" mode. There have not been enough every day images from the HX9 to make any judgment yet.

Default I have bought it !

Sorry I have'nt seen your comment before now - but I'we taken the Plunge and bought the HX100v - I really needed a replacement for the SX30. Solid Canon Cam, but low light = no light in Canon Terms !!
I think the SONY can do a lot better, and faster.
