a) I avoid GPS in my house (there are many bad people on this world) or I fake GPS data ... then someone can search in Sahara ... or in jungle in Neuguinea ... or near north pole.

b) I do not need GPS - so most time it is off. It's nice for holiday or for a journey around this world within 80 days. I have 3 Sony batteries.

TX100 gets satellite positions within short time. Switching on and making photos gives no GPS or wrong GPS data ... but after short time all is okay.

These pictures are (real) 3D (not TX100 3D functions) - but there shown only in 2D

Some nice ones there, DD.

Looks like you are finding the TX100V to be just as inspiring as the TX7 & 9.

I use all three - two times I needed for one afternoon all three batteries ... 10 GB videos ... and photos.

Excellent videos - FullHD 50p with TX100 (European model) is best.

My next camera will be the cheap Sony FS3 / Bloggie3D ... 1920x1080-side-by-side 3D videos, ordered for € 200, cheaper than stupid Panasonic 3D lenses (for camera or camcorder)

Hi,
I learned that the Sony DSC-TX100V is on the iMovie '11
compatibility list, but how will this work? It's a AVCHD 1080/60p
(yes I want the NTSC version!) camera -- but iMovie '11 supports
only 30fps!
Has anyone already used this camera with iMovie '11?
How was the quality of the final movie?
(I had lots of trouble with a Canon LEGRIA HF S20! (was European 50i/25p version))
Thanks!

Note: Originally I wanted to buy a FUJIFILM FinePix F500EXR or F500EXR
(with lots of possibilities for individual adjustments) but the sample videos
I saw, were so shocking! (Or has someone here made better videos...?)
Thanks!
