Default HX9v vs. HX100v Whats the real difference between the two.

Whats the real difference between the two? All I can tell is the hx100v is larger and more zoom.

Are there more manual features or better quality to the hx100v?

I think HX9 is the pocketable version - next step is TX100 = ultrapocketable.

the quality is not better because of the long zoom lens

HX9V vs HX100V

you have a few more direct access buttons, the movable screen and 4 times the size (overall) with some higher price

Must not be.
HX9 has Sony G lens
HX100 has Carl Zeiss lens.
TX100 has Carl Zeiss lens.

Now you know about the "movable screen" on the HX100V.

Enjoy.

Oh thanks - first I thought the HX9V would have a movable screen. Would be perfect.
