Default Sony MS Select 2x128 compatibility w/ F717

Hi everyone,

i've just bought a new F717 and i'm still looking for some extra MS.
yesterday i saw a Sony MS select 2x128, so the total capacity is 256mb.
I'm interested in it because its cheap (70$) and its capacity suits my needs. But i'm not sure with its compatibility with F717. is it compatible with my camera?

Any comments, suggestions, or advice would be highly appreciated.

thanks.

Yes, that will work with the F717.

Consider getting a 256 MB Memory Stick Pro for a little under $100. The 256 MB Memory Stick Select is more convenient than having two 128 MB sticks, but you do still have to take it out of the camera to switch banks. With a 256 MB Pro stick, you have access to all of the storage at once. It's nice to not having to open the camera. MS Pro won't work with Sony cameras from before 2003 (except the F717), though. I have two Sony cams, and my 512 MS Pro only works in the F717. I also have some regular Memory Sticks that work in the P31.

Yes, I'm using two Lexar sticks which I got on a great deal at CompUSA. You might look at the non-Sony MS's because their basically the same thing except for the label. I've heard rumors their made at the same factory too.
