Default HX20 Menu in French ?

Hello,

Before all, thank you for the full review of the HX20 camera !
I was already very interested by this camera, and the reading of this review confirmed me my choice.

I have a question and request your help.
I am in LA next month, and i planned to buy my HX20 (or HX30...) in USA.
My question is to know if the menus can be displayed in french.
Would it be possible for you to check if this language is available in the HX20v ?

Thank you for your help.
My best.

Thank you for your answer.
I am not currently in US. I don't know if the languages settings are the same between HX20 I can find in France and the US version. It was the reason of my question.
I will check on the manual with the link you have me. Tks !
The second thing was about the charger for the battery. In US, it is 110v, in France 220v. Perhaps the battery charger is ok for both ?
If you have a reply for this question?.
Than you. My best.

French certainly appears in the list - (Francais) or something like that...

The battery charger states, as I am looking at it RIGHT now...
INPUT 100V - 240V ~ 50HZ/60HZ 70ma
OUTPUT 5V == 0.5A

The cam uses 5.0vdc. Any of your USB chargers will work. The camera does come with a USB charger but no actual battery charger like we are used to.

You can purchase an Ebay one to charge seperately as well.

Again French is posted when turn on cam the first thing it will ask you is what language you want. set. time zone color of screen.

Camera is recieved with late info at Sony. camera is in a 10 day repair as in techniciens hand. they say it take from day one to repair, to tenth day cam in hand. was what I got out of the phone call. No mention of same camera, or repair time. tehy say do not ship anything back becasue you will lose it?

Sounds like you get a full kit back lol cam box and cable, as well battery fingers crossed

I ordered from an outside source, Ebay, a yard sale place, pay now pay later. I needed a charger, and spare bats. thought I get two bats and a charger. Guess i read wrong. Not a big deal. Max charger looks and feels cheap. bat as well the same. I ordered from DX.com last time, and I will try to find the indenticle bat I got last year. very hard to do?

I already have 3, and now have 4, I like one more. So when I go out on my trip this time I do not have to spare juice. I still got a ton of video and shots I think four will do just fine,

Hi,
Someone could tell me where is it possible to buy cameras in US (Los Angeles), not by Internet (I cannot give my hotel's address... ;-) ).
I know "Best Buy", but I am not a fan of these shops and HX30 is not available in this shop.
Than you for your advises.
