Default I know my DSC-T10 is old - BUT

I love it! Now find I am having problems with the backgrounds when I take my pictures. I am mainly using it for auction pictures and use a wall as a background which is yellow. When I take the pictures, the wall becomes off white and am having a problem enhancing the color to be true.

Is there a setting on my camera that I should be using? Or - any other suggestions? I never had this problem in the past so would appreciate some advice.

Thanks..
