Default DSC-P9 vs DSC-P5

Since I lost my DSC-P5, I purchased another just like it because I loved it SO much! Would it be better at this point just to spend a little extra to get the DSC-P9? What are the new advantages? Please help! THanks!

Default P5 V P9

I was in the same boat. Just replaced my lost P5 with another P5 as all the reviews of the P9 show it to produce soft images compared to the P5. The P5 has more manual options and if you read some of the reviews of people who have both P5 and P9 on dpreview.com, then they all say that P5 is much sharper and a better camera!!

If you loved the P5 like i did, then stick with it and pick up a bargain!

Default DSC P5 vs P9 ???

Thanks so much for both of your replies! I'm not sure they helped, though, since they said two totally different things. Just teasing. I will wait to use the new DSC-P5 until hopefully I get a few more replies about the differences. I did absolutely LOVE the DSC-P5! Our scuba diving pictures come out AMAZING! I find it hard to believe that for just $100 more in a camera, they could come out that much better. Hmmmmm! I'll have to do some more research now. Thanks y'all! Have a GREAT week!
