The P93 does indeed have the same Maco ability and AF assist lampas the P92.

Other points it has over and above the P92 are...
  • Better image processing electronics.[/*]
  • Histogram display.[/*]
  • 5-point Autofocus (P92 is 3-point)[/*]
  • An extra Scene mode.[/*]
  • Colour/Saturation/Hue leveladjustment.[/*]
  • Manual shutter/exposuremode.[/*]
  • Extended long exposure time of 30sec (P92 is 2sec max).[/*]
  • Slightly lighter and smaller (if that matters).[/*]
  • Better battery life.[/*]
  • Faster operation.
[/*]
As far as I can remember the only thing missing on the P93 is a Trimmimg facility where you can crop images in the camera.

I too, took back the A75 today. I was baffled by some ofthe images it produced.THe images were too inconsistent for my liking.

I loved using it but it's pictures didn't stack up.

Iwill startlookingat the Sony P100/10 and V1. WIll also check out the new Samsung 4 megapixel cams and also the Olympus C60.

I'm rather drawn to the P8 at the moment.

I tested a P10 in 3 megapixel mode and I'd say the results in Auto mode are slightly better than the Canon A75 I took back.

Granted the LCD isnt' as nice as the Canon but the P8 is looking quite attractive at the moment.
