Hello everybody!

In some old discussions some guys claim that th P93 doesn't have the trimming facility. But steve's revies says that it has.

Which one is true?
Can anyone using a P93 help us on this issue?

Thank you very muchfor your inputs..

tanaltan,

All the Cybershot range have the facility to zoom in and scroll round an image on playback.

Some have the facility to record this zoomed inphoto as a new image...Sony call this trimming...is it what you call trimming?

The P93 is only able to view a zoomed image not record it...so no trimming. You will have to look at the P100 or W1 for this.

I've had a P93 on test and still have its user manual onthe PC as a pdf file, I've just looked to check I'd remembered correctly.

David

Thank you very much for the information andthat is definitely what i also mean by trimming.

Steve's review claims that the P93 has the trimming facility (http://www.steves-digicams.com/2004_...s/p93_pg4.html). So clearly this is wrong in the review. I hope steve corrects this.

I am just trying to make a decision between the P93 and W1 and this difference will be a plus for the W1.

Thanks, we removed it. It was a "left over" from the W1 review that it was cloned from. I had found it and clipped it out of the P73 review but missed this one.
