Hi..

Does anyone know if the add on lenses (eg VCL-DH2630)for the W1 fit Sony camcorders, as I have a DCRTRV22E.

The reason I am asking is because I can't decide between the W1 and the Canon S60.. tried them both, and they seem great; but if the W1's lenses can work with my camcorder, then I could save a lot of money in the long run... esp as memory stick pros work in the camcorder and my camcorder bag has some empty space in it...

If the W1 addonlenses don't work, then I will get the Canon, due to the 28-105mm lens, as I do a lot of indoor shots, and I then wouldn't need to carry both a wideangle and telephoto lens.

Thanks in advance

David

Nevermind all... just had this response from Sony...

Thank you for your recent e-mail.

I can advise that the VCL-DH2630 tele conversion lens for the DSC-W1 digital still camera is not compatible for use with your DCR-TRV22E camcorder.

Unfortunately Sony does not have any lens in the current product range that are suitable for use with both products.

I am sorry for any disappointment this may cause.
