Hi to all...:-)

Can I use the Sony DSC-T1 to direct print to my Canon CP200 printer -- or any other printer like this (i.e. not an inkjet) for that matter?

Thanks in advance ;-)

The T1 supports PictBridge, but only with the new firmware. If your T1 doesn't give you the option to print picures directly, you can download the firmware update at the sony homepage.

:!:Be careful, when I bought my F-828 I tried Pictbridge on a Canon printer at Best Buy and it would only print 4x6.

I called Sony and they said it was a problem with the printer.

Recently I read a post stating that Sony limited print size to 4x6 due to the fact Sony printers are limited to 4x6.

I am surprized the Pictbridge group let Sony advertize Pictbridge compatibilty without letting people know you can only print 4x6, even with my available 8 mp F-828 image.

Sony better change this on their new cameras.

Hi to all...

Thanks so much for replies -- I do feel cheated a bit at Sony advertising this camera supporting PictBridge (like nickphoto123rightly says) and giving people the idea that they can just 'plug-in' to direct print printers. That's how I took it anyway :O

Thanks again!
