You are right it would fire all the time with flash from other cameras. The Vivitar is so much more sensitive than the Sony it would soon be out of battery power at an average wedding!

And you are right about the ladies not wanting to bother with such "extras". Mine appreciates the much improved flash images but would *never* bother with it.

That Panasonic looks really nice, too big for me but has to be considered if you are OK with that aspect. I was drawn to Panasonic models before I bought my last Sony but sadly there wasn't one that ticked *all* the boxes.

It's actually smaller than I thought it was, but probably not going in the pocket!

You're right, it's smaller than I expected.

Guess I tend to see that design and think of anSLR from 20yrs ago.

Be interesting to see what the "masses" think as it is more widely used/reviewed.

I like it! I think that Black is "the new silver" in digital cameras!! Ha ha . Seriously, I think the Sony V3 looks very professional and I can just imagine it with the teleconversion lenses on it.
