I've seen it mentioned that some people are using software to reduce the visibility of purple fringing in shots taken with the DSC-F828. Exactly what software are people using that has this feature ? Thanks.

Thanks. After posting, Isaw PaintShop Pro 9 mentioned while reading some of the discussions on the F828. I will purchase a copy. :-)

:homey: Hi

If you have Photoshop you don`t need any other special software. If you look on the hints and tips forum under "Remove purple fringing the easy way" you`ll seemy simple tutorial on how to do it.

:homey: Hi Cornel

You`re quite right. I should have said PS Pro and Ulead PhotoImpact as well.

Ther are versions of Photoshop like elements and earlier versions of CS like 5, 6 and 7 that are available at a fraction of the cost of the current CS Photroshop. Some are being bundled with cameras and given on disks with magazines.

Regards

Graham
