Does anyone know when this will be readily available (like at Circuit City?)

Thanks,
Holly.

I was at Circuit City tonight and it was listed in their system already, which is a sign it will be out soon. They had the price at $499.

yesasia.com lists the release date as 9/18/04, and amazon.com lists the release date as 10/20/04. We're leaving on a trip to Thailand October 7, so I'm hoping for sooner. This looks perfect for me!

Thanks, Holly.

Unfortunately, Switzerland is a little ways from Florida. I checked yesasia.com today, and they're accepting orders, shipping in about 7 days, it says.

Sonystyle.com says "available on or about September 24."

I took my husband in to Circuit City to night to look at the P100 model, as a comparison for the p150, and it was broken. Wouldn't turn on. This is the exact same camera I tested out extensively last night. Doesn't bode well, I'll have to check out the extended warranty.

I'll wait till September 24 and re-evaluate.

Thanks, Holly.

Having had my Olympus 5060 stolen, I decided to go smaller and buy the P150, which arrived today in England. They seem to be readily available about anywhere now. B & H have it at $499 but looking at Steves review there are those advertising it already at $436
