Default Picture quality on DSC - P7/9

I've tested picture quality on P7

Fine and Standard and can't tell any difference, except that file is much smaller in standdard.

Which setup do you usually use?
Is there any advantage of fine quality?

Hi

I got my P7 three weeks ago and having taken different photos using fine as well as standard I finally decided to go with the standard setting.

about to make buy decision on p7/p9 . would standard on p9 give me smaller file size then fine on p7. most use would be with 4x6 prints with moderate cropping for composition.

Hi

I, too, had to decide between P7 and P9, and finally went with the P7. The problem with super compact digicams is, the higher the resolution the more noise you'll get under low light conditions given that the optics and the size of the CCD are the same.
Even more, most super compacts won't benefit that much from the 4 MP resolution because of the tiny optics.
