Hello All,

Sony was not an exhibitor, but by my F-828, was present this Saturday as an 'Observer'.

I wanted to report on the Show's 'Ambiance'.
For you to get a feeling of being their with me.

These ore overhead, handheld images, please excuse any 'technical aberrations'.

Keep clicking on an image until you see the 'Original' size. Large files:

Seeing the world through purple colored glasses is better than seeing nothing.

Only the F-828 could have captured the moment I was able to share with you.

I shot wide open with my F32X on Auto. Thus the purple you see on the ceiling lights.

Under normal conditions I shoot at 5.6 which eliminates the purple you got caught on.

I would sincerely like to hear your comments on the Color, Detail, etc. of my F-828 images. (remember the web is srgb).

I hope you got the feeling of standing on the floor and looking around at the show's Exhibtor booths. If you did, I achieved my planned purpose of taking the shots.

Thanks for your response, Nicholas

Don't get me wrong, the pictures are awesome, the8mp detail is greatand I like all the features the F828 has. I've seen the past few photos you posted and they look awesome. I thought about getting the F828 when it came out but the PF just bothers me for a $1000 camera. I'm looking forward to the V3 and hope to see some improvements in the next pro model after the F828.

Hi Cybershotnut,

We are in the same boat. I can't wait to see the Sony upgrade of the F-828.

I don't know how pocketable the V3 would be. I would like a good pocket camera.

It seems to be winner. Thanks for your comments.

Regards, Nicholas

Great Panoramics Nicholas!

Also I'm glad to see the famous purple of the F-828. If that's it than I know it won't bother me at all (I just bought an 828 and will be receiving it soon). I admit I was kind of freaked out by some bad reviews.

regards

Pablo

Hello El-Yeti and All,

Glad you liked the pano.

There is a very good review on the F-828 on Luminous-Landscape. They show how at 5.6 PF is almost gone.

Of course to shoot my pano I was at 2.0 ( 2.0 ??, to say that with any other camera would require spending over $2300 US) as it was dark inside the hall.

Regards, Nicholas
