Someone posted the question of what is different between the Sony P93 and P93A. I was also curious so I decided to call Sony customer support.:PAfter being transfered to three different people I was told that the two cameras were 100% identical and the P93A was just made for the non-US market. BS---Big lie! I have the two cameras in front of me right now, looks like Sony wanted to do some cost cutting. The P93A is actually a downgrade, with half the pixels on the LCD! SO NEXT TIME YOU CALL SONY SUPPORT, YOU BETTER FIND OUT THE TRUTH, NOT WHAT THEY WANT YOU TO HEAR!

Well, I have been told in the store that P93A is just a defective batch, where the factory has put the lcd that is worse than original. Andthe stores sell it ~50$ cheaper than p93.

Now I have been seeing some Cyber-shot cameras made in China! Is Sony going downhill or what?
