Wow how cool is this??!! The world's smallest 7MP camera is now even smaller!!! The P150's successor is going to be the Dsc-P200 and it's only 1" thick!

as you make to say that p200 it is more small of p150?... the dimensions of the digicam are not written. I hope that the p200 it is smaller than p150.

If you check out this page, it does give the size of the new p200:

http://www.dpreview.com/news/0501/05010602sony_p200.asp

The measurements are: 104x51.5x27.9mm (about 4" long, 2" high, 1"thin)

The P150 was: 108 x 52 x 27 mm (so it just looks like it's slightly longer than the p200)

Overall it's a tiny bit smaller but not by much, but just remember the lcd screen is bigger, so that's great that they've made it a tiny bit smaller than the p150 and made the screen bigger! Cool!

it seems that the greater difference is alone lcd from 2" while the dimensions are equal to p150. Sony could carry better things to this new product. Me it seems that the interesting changes are not a lot.

But a 2" screen makes a huge difference from 1.8". I don't think any camera should have a screen smaller than 2". The W1's 2.5" is fantastic.

And also Kodak announced a new digital camera at the 2005 Internation Consumer Electronics show. It has a 3" screen!!!! Wow! I hope Sony comes out with a digital with a 3" screen too. The Kodak one is called the Kodak Easyshare One. It has a touch screen and opens like a book from the back. It even has 256mb of internal memory! Wow!

I hope that the other digital camera manufactures follow Kodak. It's so much better to have a good amount of internal memory along with memory sticks you buy. I don't really like Kodak's Digital camera quality. I find it very poor, bad color. But maybe this one will be better.

We'll have to see.......

yes is true, a 2" is a 10% larger than 1,8"; I wanted to say that sony he could as an example carry modifications also for the quality of the photos in indoor; instead it has only made modifications the lcd and has constructed 4mm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more short the external dimension. A new product seems very little in order to call this. Therefore many persons whom they have bought p150 in these days will be much angry inasmuch as p200 coast less than p150.

that does sound exciting... sony should bring out a 3.5" touchscreen model like the ones they use in their camcorders (DRCHC85, TRV80, etc) :blah:

It looks like the P200 will also have an IR remote bundled in the box.
