I just received my W1 last week. So far the only blurry shots ive gotten were from user error. I upgraded from a Canon S230 and i couldnt be happier.

So far ive tested out about 100+ shots in different modes and the camera is still impressing me.

Heres a little test shot i made while trying to figure out all the settings.

Image is unprocessed. Only thing done to it was resizing down to 900 pixels.

Oh...

I bought mine from www.newegg.com

The camera and a MS Pro 256MB card was $349 shipped via FedEx 3-day.

I loved my W1! It produced excellent photos for me. You do need a steady hand, as with any auto-focus camera. I had to place my camara on railings, or a rock, or table or something at first until I could steady my hand enough to lock the auto-focus and then I was able to take clear beautiful color shots without resting it on anything. I developed lots of photos from it and even up to 11 x 14 which were still nicely detailed! I loved the W1 and miss it because it gave excellent quality and was small too! But now I have the f828 which is 8MP, that's the only reason I sold my W1 on eBay, so I could get the 828.

After trying select models from HP, Kodak, & Canon I settled on the W1 and couldn't be happier! (because I'm no fan of the memory stick prices)

As for blurries, aside from shaking my hands knowingly I don't get any blurries nor can I figure out how some people can in automatic mode. Steady hand I guess.

I tested this before getting one, very seldomly the focus lock is on the wrong depth in very dark situations, but then again the other cameras without a focus assist light I tried couldn't even get an autofocus at all.

1100+ pictures taken.

Hi,

What are the movie mode capabilities of W1?

How does W1 compare with P150 in terms of image quality and user controls?

Need to decide between P150/200 and W1.
I dont care about the 7MegaPix on P200 much.

Thanks,
Kaz.
