So today I was experimenting with my cam again. I took some pictures of Astrophysics college.

Although the pictures seem quite sharp, nothing wrong with that, the casted shadows don't look that good. Is it because of my wrong use of the camera? Is it because of the weak flash? Was it too bright enough?

Those pictures look pretty good. The P73/P93 has the best flash out of the compact Sony point and shoot cameras. If you need more flash power than that, you can always use the HVL-FSL1Bslave falsh.

Will that be as good as a flash of a normal camera? I see some at E-bay for like €60,-which is cheap.

I haven't used that exact flash, but every external flash I ever used made a big difference in indoor shots, especially in large rooms.

your pics look good for indoor shots.

the 3rd one especially. you get shadows due to the low light
in the room. try the manual setting and set the aperture to its lowest # setting. flash off. zoom set to widest setting.
