Default Bought Sony DSC-S75 recently "Not Happy"

I just bought Sony DSC-S75 digicam, but i am not happy with the results, the pictures i take are too noisy, blury, and stuff, they are nothing like the example pictures i saw at steves digicam site, I was wondering if you guys would recommend returning the camera to get a new one or is thier something wrong with my settings, Can somoene please guide me step by step on how to make the settings exactly like at the ones at steves digicam site, so I can get the same result.

Have you tried dialing in the diopter setting? That can make focusing an issue from what you see in the view finder and the camera sees. Additionally, what focus mode and metering mode are you using?

I've had one of these for some time now and it is simple a great camera! I am trying to justify a Sony DSC 717 or Oly 5050 but its hard to do since this camera is so good and I can aford to buy whatever I want.

I find olympus to make better cameras generally, but i think the 700 series from sony is also good.
