CybershotNut,

Just out of curiosity. Is there any difference between the Sandisk 512 pro memory stick and the Sony Memory Stick Pro 512? The Sony always seems to be a little more expensive.

I have both Sony and Sandisk sticks. They are indistinguishable in performance in this camera.

Go with Sandisk, you'll have 5 years warranty for ms pro. I have a friend that had bad experience with sony customer service about his ms stick (hehe and sandisk is cheaper )
i'm using ultra II ms pro 2gb sandisk (lifetime warranty) with my 150 as of now, perfect for my needs of video mode and still enuf space for my pictures :|

I called up Sony customer service and asked them if if the P200 was compatible with memory sticks over 1GB. It took the guy a few minutes before he concluded that the max is 1GB. My main question was if the 4GB Mem Pro stick would work. So for sure a 2GB works with the P150 and probably the P200. I wonder if the 4GB works??

From what I have been reading, the 4GB stick is supposed to be compatible with any camera that can accept memory stick pro media, but I still have not seen proof anywhere.

Someone is going to have to dish out quite a bit of money to test out the 4gb stick.

Hello guys,

I am looking around to buy a digicam. I am interested in the P150 and the P200. Obviosly the two seem very similar and as you guys outlined the P200 is better.

When i was looking through the specs of each camera and comparing the two i noticed that the P200 had certainspecs a little better than the P150 but there is a spec which the P150 seems to be better.

This is the Apreture Range, on the P150 specs the apreture range is listed as: f5.6/f10 (w/t) - f2.8/f5.2 (w/t)

while in the P200 specs it is listed as: f2.8/f5.2 (w/t)

Can anyone explain whatis the difference pls?? and is the P150 really betterregarding this spec?? is this very important in a camera?:?

Thanks

Debole

And an other thing, has anyone ordered his digicam from overseas???

Is international warranty available? or is it possible to send it back if it has a defect??

The P150 and the P200 have the same aperture specifications. As you can see by this photo, the P200 is capable of f10 aperture in full telephoto:

To Debole:
I would not recommend to buy from oversea (asia or europe?). Either way, the quality is questionable [except UK version i guess] and sending it back would be a real pain =D (oversea shipping cost, you got to pay for that)

Right now the p150 is on sale for 300 (+tax) @ CircuitCity, or if you want the p200, just wait for a while, Dell or other online vendors do offer it as a reasonable price.

About p150 Vs. p200: p200 is better with manual WB + bigger LCD hehe  but I do not like the look of p200, and it does not come with the blue color like the p150 i have rite now

aniwe, thanks to the coming of p200, i was able to get my p150 + sandisk card for total 430 hehe
