http://www.megapixel.net/reviews/sony-v3/v3-gen.html

As usual, you have to apply a conversion factor to megapixel.net's reviews. If the camera has the name Sony written on it, you need to add (at least) 1 to their ratings figures to get the comparable rating numbers.

Why? I mean, the camera ratings seems fair, the W1 even got a 9.4

There is a long history of 'interesting' Sony reviews and ratings but...that isn't important.

I notice that there wasn't even a mention of f8 or PF in the whole review.

Yes, I find it refreshing not to see the F8 issue. I have had the V3 and have been thrilled with it. I realize there are limitations to it, and that it is not the perfect camera. I don't think any of the current crop of prosumer cameras are perfect. They all have limitations..all of which can be worked around. I think you must find a camera that suits your needs, and that you are happy with.
