reading the manual now...

i took a pic in front of a mirror....as u can see the two edges of mirror are not parallel...
is it my fault or is it LENS :sad: or is it the way its supposed to be?

You were lucky. You could have spent $8,000 for a top of the line dSLR and, under the same conditions, would have been just as bulrry.

Here are my suggestions.

If your pictures are blurry when you don't use a flash...the USE the flash! Problem solved!

If you see the little hand warning you about camera shake...DON'T ignore it. Brace the camera...somehow. Put it on a table (if nothing else) and use the self-timer to take the shot.

Lastly, try NOT to use the LCD as a viewfinder. Use the optical viewfinder...it is steadier and you will have less blurry pictures!

As far as the sides ot your mirror are concerned. At that focal length it is normal.

Thanks Meryl...i will keep the pointers in mind.

Just finished going through manual for P200...its a pretty good one for starters like me...

With the flash the pics turned out quiet good...
In the earlier pic i posted, I could not use flash becoz of reflection on the guitar body...
just took a macro pic...looks fine to me
