my camera just suddenly started taking pics with this weird coloration and exposure. i didnt drop it, and didnt fiddle with any settings. last time i remembered using it was around 1 month ago and it was fine. all settings when this pic was taken were at normal. any ideas what's wrong??? help!!!

Weird! It almost looks like the P. effect is set to solarize. That would have been a nice shot too... Try resetting the camera with the reset button and see if that helps.

i found the reset button. still no success with the picture though. thanks though. any other ideas? :idea:

Shake it! It might be an "etch a sketch" camera, like the Toshiba I had. My Toshiba was dropped a few times and would make pictures like this, then I'd shake it and it would be fine. It was my "Etch A Sketch" camera. What really was wrong was that a metal piece had become loose inside the digtial camera and was touching against the circuits. I removed the metal peice, don't know where it came from and it worked perfectly.
